Check out these lovelies! Very pleased with how they turned out, not too sure about the name (Raspberry Dew Drop Earrings)… but I’ll stick with it for now. I’ve decided that I need to up my production levels and try and list more often. I’ve got some new supplies coming in this week, including some lovely lemon quartz, some clear crystal quartz and some very pale aqua chalcedony.

Been reading more and more about how Etsy is saturated with jewelry sellers. I’ll admit, it’s a little discouraging, but I think if your style is unique enough, maybe you can beat the odds and still be successful. I’m not doing that well, though. I’ve had more jewelry sales at my shop over at Folksy, and while I’m extremely grateful for those, I’d still love to sell some on Etsy. I guess the things I make aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I suppose that as long as I’m happy with what I’m doing, it’s okay. I love what I make – but it would of course be nice if everyone else would love what I make, too. Ha! I’ll try not to get too disheartened.

I guess if things get very slow with making bags and jewelry, I’ll have time to start up my second shop, which will sell amigurumi plushies and patterns. It’s a lot to take on. I can’t help it, I have too many crafty ambitions. I’ll be honest; I’d like to achieve some degree of success with selling my handmade things online. It’d be a dream come true. So don’t blame me for trying a million things before I get it right! What am I enjoying the most right now? Undoubtedly, it’s making jewelry. But I’ll have to find out what works and what doesn’t, and it’ll take a lot of experimenting.

Not going to give up for a while yet, though!
